Argumentative essay

In Indonesia, we can find lots of kids who drive underage with or without fake license. We can easily spot high school or even primary students driving around motor cycles to reach their school. Without a doubt, they obviously do not know what danger they could cause.  Abdul Qodir Jaelani  is a kid who had taken the lives of 7 people at Jagorawi High way. The crash happened at 14th September 2013, at about one in the morning. Ahmad Dhani, a famous rock star in Indonesia as well as the father of this 13 year old boy should be the one who is responsible and to be blamed for this crash.
At the age of 13 kids are not mature yet, especially boys. Due to this fact, Ahmad Dhani should have been a good role model for his three kids. The result of him giving such luxuries to his son ended up getting him paying 1,5 billion for all the troubles his son had caused. This proofs that his son isn’t capable of paying all the damage because he still use his dad’s money. This statement automatically supports the fact that his son’s trouble was Ahmad Dhani’s responsibility. Which means, if he is responsible, he is the one who should be blamed.  Even his oldest son, Al has not get his driving license yet, then why would he give his youngest son who apparently is still careless to drive?
Dhani said that he had provide driver for Dhul, unfortunately he wasn’t present due to his day off. This reason is clearly unacceptable. Fact stated that he ran away from his house along with his friends, because he didn’t want to attend Judika’s wedding. This means that Dhul’s father was clearly over spoiled. Back when the crash happened, some medias taped that Dhani was teaching Dhul how to drive a car. This shows that his dad actually agrees that his son can take his car whenever he wants and drive without license.
If Dhul goes to jail, by the time he’s free he probably would continue driving illegally, because his father will keep on letting him do that. However, if his father were to put in jail than he may reflect and start changing his perspective and mind on how to raise a child properly. Also, jail isn’t a supportive place for ‘over spoiled’ children to grow.
Sure, the blame wouldn’t go all to his father. Some other people are also responsible. For instance, the ticket man at the high way could have seen Dhul and called the police to inform that a kid underage was driving. But again, were living in Indonesia where all the rules are just messed up. Therefore, the only person who should be responsible of his son was Ahmad Dhani himself. If he knew he couldn’t trust his son, then why did he teach him how to drive in the first place?

So from all of the statements and arguments above, I have come to a conclusion that Ahmad Dhani is the one to be blamed for teaching and letting his children drive illegally. No matter what, at the end of the day a father should and would be responsible of his own children’s action. To blame his son will be a wrong thing to do, because he was raised that way and he is just lost and confused because he was spoiled.
